Important Things to Know 

Canvas

All classwork is posted in Canvas under the appropriate module heading (Current Assignments, To Be Graded, Graded). Not every assignment is submitted through Canvas, so it may be listed as missing until it is graded. Currently, there is no "mark as done" feature like in other programs. Please keep this in mind when reviewing the assignments. Assignments will be graded in Canvas, and the grades will be posted in Aeries and Canvas. They sync nightly.

Please become an observer for your student. The instructions can be found on the district site. You will need to coordinate with your student, as they need to provide a code. If you need any more help, please take a look at these instructions. Also, please load the Canvas App if possible. It is available in Apple and Android stores. There are student and parent versions. 

Aeries Parent/Student Portal

Student grades will be posted in Aeries. Please make sure you are signed up for the parent portal. This is a good place to check grades and attendance.

Please make sure your student has an Alameda County Library card. Students can check out books in person or online for free
