This site allows you to take 'photocopies' from text books that the school owns - actually it gives you a link, which you can then put into a Google Classroom assignment or firefly page. Students can then access a really high definition copy of the pages. You will need to register and include the school details but it is really easy. Also you will need a camera on your device to be able to access the text books.
Zoom - please note
Note that you can sign up to Zoom and use it with your school email address. It is possible to use zoom on the browser (Chrome) as you will not have permissions to set up the app on your school laptops. To do this you need to click the ‘having difficulties’ link when you set up a video call and then it will say ‘continue in browser’ or something similar
Zoom meetings - please note that these are now approved by Trust if not recorded, however, the recommended platforms are still Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. If you think the functionality of Zoom may be helpful to your groups, please contact HRI so a record can be kept. If you need to record a meeting, however, you must use either teams or google meet.
