Unit 4: Geometry and Measurement
Unit Overview: They will also develop an understanding of measurement of mass and volume. Most previously introduced standards will be revisited during this time. We also take advantage of the "Step-Up" textbook workbook pages to prepare our students for 4th grade.
Measurements of liquid, volume, and mass are important in our world.
All people need to be able to solve multi-step problems in everyday life.

Students are able to use the appropriate tool to measure liquid, volume, mass, and length correctly.

I can measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l).
I can use models to add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes.
