The purpose of this chapter shall be to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage good citizenship in the students of MCS Noble Middle School. Membership in this chapter is an honor bestowed upon deserving students by the faculty and shall be based upon the criteria of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be in 7th or 8th grade
Must have been enrolled for a period equivalent to one semester at Noble
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.8
(Students meeting the initial criteria above will receive a Student Information Packet to complete for further consideration in the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.)
Considered based upon service, leadership, character, and citizenship
Must not have been assigned OSS at any time during academic career at Noble
During Mastery next week, Mrs. Waring will meet with students (7th & 8th graders) who have been identified as being academically eligible for consideration for membership in the National Junior Honor Society. Students will be given a Notification Letter, Guidelines Agreement (MUST be signed and returned to gain access to NJHS Google Classroom), and 2 Recommendation Forms.
October 28 - 7th Graders
October 29 - 8th Graders

November 8 - Student Information Form (Google Classroom) DUE...No Exceptions will be made!
November 15 - 2 Teacher/Adult Recommendations DUE
