NHCS partners with the Wilmington Rotary Club to recognize excellence in our Beginning Teachers.  

The Rookie of the Year process honors teachers in their 2nd and 3rd years.

Each year the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching honors beginning teachers across the state who show promise as excellent teachers and of leadership in education.
