Color a Smile - print and color or draw a picture to send to soldier, sick children, and other people who just need a smile to brighten their day (I will print this out for you if you choose this option, just let me know which one)
Share a smile! - Look for someone around you who looks like they need a smile
Tell someone WHY you love them
Make a card or write a letter for a friend or family member and mail it to them
Leave quarters on parking meters
Tape microwave popcorn to a Redbox machine
Look for a way to help someone without being asked to (mom, teacher, friend, neighbor, grandma, etc.)
Some possible options:
Help someone carry his/her books.
Share your snack with someone at recess or lunch.
Play with a friend at recess or lunch that is sitting alone.
Pick up trash, even if it is not yours!
Help your teacher by tidying up the bookshelf or class bins.
Check in on the librarian and ask him/her if any help is needed.
Try introducing yourself to another student you do not know.
Go up and chat with a teacher you have never met.
Compliment someone on his/her personality! Ex: You’re really kind! You are very bright.
Thank your parents for all the kind things they do for you.
Write a get-well card for a student who is out sick.
Ask your mom or dad if you can help set the table, make dinner, or complete another chore.
Help your sibling out with his/her homework.
Make a card for someone living in a local senior center.
Deliver water bottles, cookies, hot chocolate, coffee or other treats to your local fire station or police station with a THANK YOU
Buy kids books at the dollar store, wrap them and leave them at the kids play area at the mall or a local park for other kids to find
leave a treat and thank you note for your garbage person and/or mail person
