REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR SUMMER 2026 & FALL 2026:
*Rising 11th graders (current 10th graders): Registration for Fall 2026 (August-December 2026 classes) will open on April 13, 2026. You will be able to see the catalog and start planning in your MyCFCC portal on March 16.
*Rising 12th graders (not already in the dual enrollment program): Registration for Summer 2026 (May-July 2026) & Fall 2026 (August-December 2026) will open on April 13, 2026. You will be able to see the catalog and start planning in your MyCFCC portal on March 16.
*Rising 12th graders (already in the dual enrollment program): Registration for Summer 2026 (May-July 2026) & Fall 2026 (August-December 2026) will open on April 6, 2026. You will be able to see the catalog and start planning in your MyCFCC portal on March 16.
Step by Step Registration Process
Please familiarize yourself with the Laney Bell Schedule when registering for classes. If you are taking in-person classes, you need to make sure that they do not interfere with your Laney schedule. All juniors are expected to take four classes total (between Laney and CFCC). Be sure to meet with your counselor for questions.

*FLEX sessions will be held to assist students with course registration. Check FlexTime Manager to sign up*
Log into your CFCC account by visiting my.CFCC.edu
*(If you have NOT activated your account - you must click "First Time User" under the Login button and enter the CFCC login credentials that you received via email in your official CFCC approval).
There are 3 main parts to the registration process - PLANNING, REGISTERING, AND PAYING STUDENT FEES.
After you have logged into your CFCC account, you will be taken to your student portal. On the left-hand side of the screen, you will see LAUNCHPAD. Click on "SELF-SERVICE." You will then be taken to a screen choose "GO TO MY PROGRESS." You will then be able to either click on the course(s) you want to take that are within your pathway or search in the search bar on the top right-hand side for the course(s). You will be able to filter the course selections by specific campus/course format/etc. to narrow down the choices.
PLANNING - as you are reviewing the course(s) you would like to take, and you have indicated the course section you would like, click "ADD SECTION TO SCHEDULE." This will PLAN the course for you, but will not officially REGISTER you for the course.
REGISTERING - you will then need to go to the course in your STUDENT PLANNING.
Click the "Home" button on the top left-hand side of the screen
Click STUDENT PLANNING
Click "GO TO PLAN AND SCHEDULE" in the Plan your Degree & Register for classes box
Make sure the correct term is selected (example, if you're registering for Fall 2026 classes, make sure Fall Semester 2026 is selected above the calendar).
You will see each course you have planned on the left-hand side. Click the blue "REGISTER" button OR if you have multiple courses planned, you may click at the top (above the calendar) on the right-hand side "REGISTER NOW" to register for all of the planned courses in one click.
PAY FOR YOUR STUDENT FEES - Remember, the state of North Carolina waives the tuition for the course(s), but all students are responsible for the remaining student fees. You MUST pay these fees by the deadline (you will be notified via your CFCC EMAIL of these deadlines and you can reference the academic calendar for deadlines.
Go back to your student portal - under the LAUNCHPAD menu (left-hand side of the screen) click the link "PAY TUITION AND FEES"
IF YOU DO NOT PAY YOUR STUDENT FEES BY THE DEADLINE, YOU WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE COURSE(s)!!!
