INFORMATION FOR SPRING 2026 (January-May 2026) SEMESTER:

*Current 11th & 12th graders: The Spring 2026 dual enrollment application closed on October 20th. 

*Any questions about Spring 2026 classes (adding/dropping/withdrawing) should be directed to laneyccp@mail.cfcc.edu

*Rising 11th graders (current 10th graders) and rising 12th graders (not already in the dual enrollment program): The Fall 2026 dual enrollment application opened on February 5, 2026 and will close on March 13, 2026.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:                                              

*Rising 11th graders (current 10th graders): Registration for Fall 2026 (August-December 2026 classes) opens April 13, 2026. You can access the catalog & start planning in your MyCFCC portal on March 16.

*Rising 12th graders (not already in the dual enrollment program): Registration for Summer 2026 (May-July 2026) & Fall 2026 (August-December 2026) opens April 13, 2026. You can access the catalog & start planning in your MyCFCC portal on March 16.

*Rising 12th graders (already in the dual enrollment program): Registration for Summer 2026 (May-July 2026) & Fall 2026 (August-December 2026) opens April 6, 2026. You can access the catalog & start planning in your MyCFCC portal on March 16.

-You can make an appointment with Career Coach & CCP Liaison: Clay Morgan. He will be at Laney on Thursdays https://capefearcommunitycollege-9.youcanbook.me/

-Virtual Office Hours are also available every Wednesday from 4:00-5:00pm. Link to join:  meet.google.com/wgj-puwu-mvd. Students don't need to make an appointment to join open office hours.

College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) 

The Career & College Promise program is for qualified high school juniors & seniors who want to begin their two or four-year college work, tuition-free, while they are in high school (allowing the student to get a head start on their workplace and college preparation). The program is through a partnership with Cape Fear Community College.  Eligibility requirements are different depending on the program/pathway of interest.
