Dear Parents and Guardians

I hope you have had a good week. Nexus learners have continued to shine as the IGCSE results have come in. These are the best ever IGCSE results at Nexus. We are delighted to share our IGCSE learners have done themselves proud with 100% of them passing their IGCSEs and most results being at least half a grade better than the predicted grade.

• 54.8% of all CAIE grades were A* and A

• 55.8% of all grades were A* and A or equivalent

• 92.4% of all grades were A*-C or equivalent

These results not only go to supporting the learners to successfully undertake further study, they help them secure a better economic future for themselves. Learners should be proud of themselves, they have studied hard and used the feedback and guidance provided by their teachers to be the best academic version of themselves. Their academic talents have been validated in these external examinations.

Whilst academics are important they are not the sole purpose of education at Nexus. With the RECIPE and Learner Profile we work with our learners to better themselves as people who are part of a community. The CARE MVMT will help us further by empowering learners to see that caring for themselves, others and the world can have a huge impact and we hope they can use this as they go forward and take their productive part, leading in global in society.
