The Secondary Student Council representatives are busily preparing for our annual Diversity Week. This year we are planning our week to align with the International United Nations Day on Wednesday 26th October and our colourful national flags will be flown proudly around the school.
We aim to promote a wide range of events including a united nations basketball challenge during lunch break in the gym on Tuesday 22nd to raise money for a selected charity, open stage performances throughout the week including singing and dancing (open to primary and secondary learners to sign up) cultural food stalls, dress up and activities on Friday 28th and international films and quizzes to name but a few ideas in the making.
As always the learning in the classrooms throughout the week will focus on our theme and encourage all learners to reflect, share ideas and embrace diversity. We look forward to a great week from the 22nd to the 26th October 2018. Secondary Student Council
