Immunisation is an important way of protecting your child against many communicable diseases, which may have severe or life threatening complications.
Immunisation schedules vary across the globe. Multinational hubs such as Singapore, often schedule a larger number of doses of some vaccines (such as DPT) to ensure effective immunity within the population. To view the Singapore Immunisation Schedule click here.
Within Singapore, it is mandatory by law to be vaccinated against Diphtheria (included in DPT vaccine) and Measles (included in MMR vaccine). Any person not vaccinated against these diseases should see their family doctor for vaccinations as soon as possible, or to seek a medical exemption letter.
Within school, we ask that all parents and guardians ensure that your child’s immunisations are up to date, and the latest copy of the records are submitted to Student Services or the School Clinic. If you have any questions, please feel free to discuss this with the School Nurses.
