As part of the ‘Life after Nexus’ programme, all Year 12 learners will have 1:1 meetings with the University and Careers Guidance Counsellor with tailored support for the next steps of their decision making.
A university planner has been shared with all learners to keep track of their university plans. They will also share this with their tutor teachers and parents or guardians so that everyone is on board with such an important journey! Learners are encouraged to choose a maximum of two countries on which to dedicate their search. Within this planner they will need to keep track of the universities to which they would like to apply, the course requirements, and those crucial application deadlines!
Future ‘Life After Nexus’ sessions will be held on personal statement and essay writing, interview preparation (with tips from past learners!), and managing the application process.
Please do get in touch with Ms Nicola at harte.n@nexus.edu.sg if you have any queries. Ms Aine will return to the position later this term.
