The Nexus Junior Achievement Team are Singapore Champions!

Last Saturday ‘Revival’ attended the National finals at Nanyang Junior College. They did themselves and Nexus proud, sharing their business and learning journey to the judges. It was a demanding day and the competition was fierce. I am delighted to announce that Revival not only won ‘Best company report’ but also ‘Company of the Year Singapore 2019’. This means that the 4 presenters, Carlota, Tina, Jackson and Dhruv are going to Guam to represent Singapore and Nexus at the Asia Pacific finals in March. This is a massive achievement!! Thanks to everybody for your support and patronage.

Lunar New Year Celebrations

This afternoon has been terrific - the first Lion Dance at our new campus topped off a day of fun and interactive learning. Huge congratulations to our Chinese teaching team as well as the many parents and other members of staff who have spent so much time making our new school look incredible, as well as leading the plethora of activities.

Update from our Learning Resource Hub

Nexus has just purchased a subscription for two academic databases for our secondary learners: JSTOR and EBSCOhost. These are great databases for our learners, particularly if they are doing research for the IB or IGCSE; however, learners in Years 7-9 would also find the ESBCO Explora option useful which we also have access to. Both of them can be found on our HUB under 'digital resources links' and can be used both at school and at home. EBSCO is particularly helpful as translates articles into many languages and offers the option of an 'audio' text. Any questions? See Ms. Lussenhop in the Secondary Learning Resources Hub.
