RIF is an annual music festival featuring LASALLE students and alumni as well as well-known acts. Started in 2017, it is a platform for local musicians to showcase their talents on a professional stage and expand their audience reach. Festival goers will be treated to varying types of music including rock, pop, blues, edm and more. For music enthusiasts, there is something for everyone on the three festival stages.
Nexus International School are delighted to have been invited to participate again at this event. This year we have three bands, who are currently gearing up for the challenge.
Please put this date in your diary: this is a great opportunity for our learners and they would love to have your support as they take their music to the outside world!
If you would like to know more about this event, you can email Mr Fordham (fordham.a@nexus.edu.sg).

Introducing our concert:
50 years ago, Neil Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon. This year, in 2019, Nexus are proud to celebrate this event by placing our own fantastic musicians on the Nexus Stage (all 150 of them) - including the Secondary Orchestra, IGCSE Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Choirs and Year 8 singers.
All music is intended to reflect the Moon, so expect great songs including ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, ‘Moondance’ and ‘Blue Moon’ and many more.
Dress up in style:
Why not come adorned in suitable dress - oxygen tanks will be provided.
