Just to give you a “Heads Up!” for Bug Busting Day this term. In clinic we will be highlighting shapes on hair with coloured string and temporary hair colour. On Wednesday, 8th November we are also asking learners and their families or friends to take a head photograph whilst performing the Bug Busting procedure. Add a humorous caption or facial expression if you’d like. The photographs will then be placed together in a collage for the learners to enjoy in school. Both of these events are open to the whole school community, and we are looking forward to getting creative with interesting designs for the day.

We are always saddened to hear of families bidding farewell to Nexus, be it to move onto pastures new, repatriate or to go with another option here in Singapore. To give us time to get used to the idea of your child not being around anymore, give us the best possible chance to help you with moving on and to help place new families coming into the school, we would like to ask that you consider giving us notification of your child's departure as early as you can. Many of our year groups are close to capacity this academic year and incoming families to Singapore are being given less notice from companies moving them here. Being able to guarantee them places earlier helps them to piece their lives together but it also helps us to maintain good dynamics for current families at Nexus by being able to plan out class groupings (e.g. nationalities, genders, interests).
Please can we ask that if you think it is likely that your child will not return to Nexus in January, that you email to studentservices@nexus.edu.sg as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
