In order to prepare learners for the next phase of learning Year 9 Learners will be having trial exams to help them understand the process and experience sitting an assessment in the examination room in timed conditions . Please note, this is not a test of their knowledge from Y7-Y9. Instead, these will be more focussed assessments from more recent study; teachers will inform learners of the expectations and limited preparation will be necessary. No assessment will be more than one hour long and the experience is designed to give learners a sense of time management and examination etiquette. We believe this will make the transition to IGCSEs smoother for our learners as they will know how to better prepare, self-manage and meet examination expectations going forward.
Trial examinations will be between Tuesday May 31st and Friday June 3rd.
