Parent Teacher Conferences

Primary Parent Teacher Conferences - Thursday, 6 & Friday, 7 October 2022

School is closed to learners on Friday, 7 October so that teachers and parents can meet.

The Parent Teacher Conferences are specifically for parents and as such are not suitable for your children. Please make alternative arrangements for your them. Thank you.

We will be offering a hybrid model with some face to face appointments and some online appointments to accommodate different family's needs. You will soon receive email notification to allow you to book appointments.

**PLEASE TAKE NOTE WHETHER THE CONFERENCE TIME YOU'VE BOOKED IS ON CAMPUS OR VIA GOOGLE MEET**

Thursday, 6 October

Face to Face Parent Teacher Conferences on campus (Secondary also face to face at this time)

Friday, 7 October

Face to Face Parent Teacher Conferences on campus (Secondary also face to face at this time)

  • 08:30 - 10:00


Online Parent Teacher Conferences via Google Meet

  • 10:30 - 14:30


If you have not yet booked a time to meet with your child's teacher, please log in to the Parent Portal to secure a slot.

Term 2 Dates

Term 2 dates:

PLEASE NOTE TERM 2 STARTS ON A WEDNESDAY

  • Wednesday, 26 October - Friday, 16 December 2022


Important dates for Term 2 are:

  • Deepavali Celebration Friday, 28 October 2022

  • CCAs will run until 18 November 2022

  • ACSIS Sport training for Season 1 will run until Friday, 11 November 2022

  • Inclusion: You, Me & Us Week Monday, 21 - Friday, 25 November 2022

  • Primary Semester 1 Learning Summaries will be published in the final week of the term


Phone & Smart Watch Reminder

Primary learners are not encouraged to bring mobile phones, smart watches or electronic devices to school.

Some children bring these devices in order to communicate with parents on their journeys to and from school.

All devices must be given to homeroom teachers at the start of the day. They will be kept in a locked cupboard and returned at the end of the day. If a child needs to contact a parent/guardian during the school day they will be asked to go to Learner Services, where a member of staff will make the call on their behalf.

Free Trial of Nex2Us

In case you missed it, we are still offering a free trial of our newly opened co-working space, Nex2Us!

During this free trial, the space will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents who are interested may simply drop by at the Level 2 Main Reception to register as a new user with two time blocks for your consideration: 8:30am - 12:00pm and 12:30pm - 4:20pm. At the moment, we do not offer advanced booking.

FastBreak

FastBreak is now offering basketball programmes held on Nexus for the 2022-23 school year.

FastBreak Basketball Club is the premier youth basketball training and club program in Singapore. With over 400 unique players per week involved in the program, it holds the position of the largest dedicated basketball company in Singapore. Focussed on teaching the fundamentals of basketball and developing players who understand both the skills and game theory involved in playing basketball, FastBreak has established itself as the leader in basketball instruction in Singapore over its 15 year history.
