Ukulele CCA Groups Perform in Assembly
At Nexus, there are Beginner Ukulele CCA, Nexus Ukettes CCA (for intermediate players), and Sing & Strum CCA (for advanced players) programmes to suit the needs of musicians at different levels of playing. This past Friday at the assembly, all learners in the above programmes participated in a short Christmas themed performance for learners and parents to watch. For a video, click here!
Phase 1 Festive Songs
On 5th of December, our cute little singers in Nursery and Kindergarten rounded off the Phase 1 Christmas Marketplace by singing festive holiday tunes from all around the world for parents and guests. Lots of kisses and hugs were exchanged, it’s safe to say we all had a lot of fun.
In addition, Nursery learners went on a field trip to a local nursing home, Orange Valley. Our young learners sung some festive carols for the residents and gave handmade bells to each of the residents in hopes to brighten their day!

What a spectacular evening on Wednesday which got our whole community coming together to celebrate and get into the festive spirit. A huge thank you to all our Nexus musicians that participated and led our Carols it was wonderful to see such amazing talent displayed and professionalism held throughout both of the concerts. Year 4 Christmas Carols
Tis the season! Our fabulous young singers have sung beautiful Christmas carols all around the school this week. Once in the school cafeteria for all Primary learners and staff to hear and another by the school bus bay for parents and learners arriving. Year 4 learners have also collected small donations to give to a local community hospital in Hougang, Bright Vision Hospital. Christmas spirit all around! For a video, click here!
