Today we had said farewell to the Year of the Pig and ushered in the Year of the Rat with the usual Nexus energy and enthusiasm. All our Primary learners delighted in a range of traditional activities, including writing good luck messages on our cherry blossom tree, trying their hand at Chinese calligraphy, fan dances and Chinese drumming and even pinning the tail on the rat!
As always, the highlight was when the two very cheeky lions joined the school community in the gym. The cacophony of sound and stunning acrobatic movements were a fantastic way to round up the festitivies and start the long weekend.
