Term 2 Music Recital Videos are currently available to view.

Last term, our Instrumental Tutors worked alongside our young musicians during their lessons on a selected piece for the NEXUS Online Instrumental Recitals. Learners practised throughout the term to bring to you a range of instruments and music showcasing their individual talents to our Nexus community. Some of them selected Christmas Carols, for others, it was an ABRSM or Trinity Rock and Pop Examination piece and for some, just something fun!

The music recitals are now a regular event in our music calendar. We would like to invite learners who have instrumental lessons inside and outside of school to participate. If you missed out this term, don't forget to look out for details of the next one in our Newsletters.

This term is all about concerts and gigs!!!!

Finally, we are able to perform to a live audience and we are aiming to introduce some formal recitals, NEXUS Beats lunchtime gigs and some concerts into this year's school calendar. We encourage all learners who are interested in music to get involved!

Primary Orchestra Y3-6 - Tuesday after school - 3.30-4.30pm

At Nexus, we have a comprehensive Instrumental programme with over 200 learners and 12 specialist instrumental tutors. Lessons take place during the school day and after school at a cost of $50 per 30-minute session.

We are currently accepting enrolment for new learners and can also offer trial lessons if your child is unsure of their instrument of choice.

We are very pleased to announce that Music CCAs are back for Primary learners, and of course for Secondary learners who will be able to continue to attend awesome Music programmes at Nexus! If you or your child hasn't signed up for anything yet, please log in to CHQ to do so.

We have a variety of programmes that include singing (limited to some in Secondary due to restrictions), orchestra, and music tech, as well as playing percussion, ukulele, violin, woodwind (recorder & flute), and piano. Looking forward to seeing you there!
