Please note that we have the following, final school closure days left in Term 4:
Monday, 16 May - Vesak Day
Other important dates for Term 4:
Primary Learning Summaries published on Monday, 13 June
We still have learners being left at the level 1 drop off (near the tree house) when there is no adult on duty.
This area always has an adult on duty during drop-off time. If you arrive and no adult is on duty you must take your child to Learner Services on level 2.
This will ensure we know your child is on site and can take responsibility for them.
Please do not open the gate and let your child in when no-one is on duty.
Primary learners are not encouraged to bring mobile phones, smart watches or electronic devices to school.
Some children bring these devices in order to communicate with parents on their journeys to and from school.
All devices must be given to homeroom teachers at the start of the day. They will be kept in a locked cupboard and returned at the end of the day. If a child needs to contact a parent/guardian during the school day they will be asked to go to Learner Services, where a member of staff will make the call on their behalf.
Please check your child has either the latest version of the SafeEntry app or a working token to support SafeEntry check-in each morning.
A working token should have a light flashing every minute. If it does not, it needs to be manually scanned which slows down the entry process for your child and others. Tokens work for approximately 6 months before they need replacing.
New tokens can be obtained for free from community centres; you can find the nearest one with a vending machine here.
Please take the time over the break to ensure all tokens are working.
Masks
Whilst restrictions are relaxing learners still need to wear masks in all indoor spaces. (except when involved in sports or eating/drinking).
Please ensure your child's mask:
fits well
is clean
is comfortable
We also request your child brings a spare mask to school in their bag every day, in named ziplock bag (or similar).
