Thank you to all those who attended the IBDP options event on Thursday 2nd. It was great to see so many of you there. We hope you were able to ask all your questions and that spending time with teachers and learners was useful. To help you all through the process we have created this microsite to host all the information and contacts you may need. The form to select your options can be found on Selecting and recording your options page. Please note we ask for options to be submitted by Friday 8th December.

Secondary Music Ensembles Concert
We have over 250 Nexus musicians participating in this year's Secondary Music Ensembles Concert on Tuesday 7 November. This terms concert is themed 'A Night at the Movies' and all our ensembles plus selected Year 7 music classes will be bringing to our community a night of spectacular movie music classics. From Star Wars to Mozart, Lion King to the Sound of Music come along and support our musicians.
This event will be a celebration of music from Term 1 and 2 music ensembles.
No tickets are required for this event, seating on a first come first served basis. Refreshments by the fantastic NCG will be on offer before the concert and during the interval. Doors open at 6.20pm
Learners participating in the concert are required to remain after school for a rehearsal until 4.30pm; after which they may return home or stay in the music department until showtime!
Mamma Mia!
Mamma Mia!
What a fabulous time the secondary learners had at the Sands Theatre on the 25th of October watching Mamma Mia!! We were dancing in the aisles and singing along to all our favourite ABBA tunes.
Watching live theatre is a core part of the Drama/Theatre curriculum and our lucky learners even managed to run to the stage door and meet all the actors at the end of the show!
If you haven't seen it yet catch it quick before the company leaves on its round the world tour!

Please make sure you check the examination schedules before booking travel. The IBDP examination schedule is already published for May 2024. The IGCSE schedule should be confirmed in January.
Please note external examinations may fall on public holidays or run in the evening and the school has no control over these dates. External examination dates cannot be rearranged by the school.
Internal trial examinations for Year 13 and Year 11 run between January 8th to January 19th.
Internal trial examinations for Year 12 run between 4th and 11th March.
Internal trial examinations for Year 10 run between 2nd and 12th April.
