Nexus will be celebrating Lunar New Year on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 January.  Learners are welcome to wear red and gold clothing, or traditional Chinese dress on both days of our celebrations. 

There are two opportunities for you to join us in celebrating Lunar New Year. 

Firstly, we would like to invite you to join us for various cultural activities in the MPH on Thursday 23 January 3:30-4pm.

Secondly, we invite you to watch a special lion dance performance from the level 2 walkway on Friday 24 at 8:40am. In the case of bad weather, the performance will be moved to the sports hall and we will unfortunately be unable to accommodate parents.

School will be closed for all learners on Wednesday 29, Thursday 30 and Friday 31 January due to Lunar New Year.  We will return to school on Monday 3 February. 

Semester 1 Learning Summaries are now available in the iSAMS parent portal.

To access the Parent Portal you will need to:

1) Go to the Parent Zone on the Nexus Website Parent Zone (click here)

2) Click on the ‘iSAMS for Parents’ button  - this will take you to iSAMS for Parents Login Page

3) Login using the email and password you used when you set up your iSAMS parent account

4) Once logged in select ‘School Profile’ from the top menu

5) Next select ‘School Reports’

6) If you have more than 1 child - select the correct child

7) The reports will be available under the ‘Reports’ tab 

8) View the report using the ‘eye’ icon, or download

Music ensembles restart on from Monday 20 January and run until 30 May 2025. Details of your allocation can be found on SchoolsBuddy. 

This is a friendly reminder about the Bali Trip Information Meeting , scheduled for Tuesday, 21st January, from 5pm to 5.45pm. This will be a face-to-face meeting held in the Auditorium, where we will share the draft programme and address any questions you may have.
