Hari Raya

During our assemblies on Friday, 12 April, we will be celebrating Hari Raya with our learners.

All learners are invited to wear traditional muslim or Hari Raya celebration dress on Friday, 12 April.

Alternatively, learners can wear their school uniform.

Please note these days are not for casual wearing of non-uniform.

Ramadhan Dinner

As we move into the Islamic month of Ramadhan, we are delighted to extend a warm invitation to all – Muslims and non-Muslims alike – to join us for a memorable 'Ramadhan Iftaar Dinner'. This inclusive event is an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of togetherness and learn more about the traditions around Ramadhan.

Date: Thursday 4th April 2024

Time: 6:30 PM onwards

Venue: Nexus International School, Level 5 Cafeteria

Whether you observe the fast or not, we welcome you to join us in this tradition of sharing and gratitude. Dinner (Iftaar / Buka puasa) will be from a fully Halal-certified external caterer.

For those who wish to engage in prayer, a designated prayer space will be available.

Year 6 Exhibition Kickoff

We would like to invite all Year 6 parents to our Exhibition Kickoff on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024!

This event will provide you with a sneak peek into what our Year 6 learners will be focusing on during Term 4 for their PYP Exhibition.

Your presence at this event will certainly help to encourage and support our learners for their upcoming challenge

Jazz/Pop Concert at the Blackbird

Jazz/Pop @ The Blackbird

Please come and join us at the Blackbird on Saturday 13th April from 3-5pm for an afternoon of Jazz and Pop classics. The programme will include classics such as, Autumn Leaves, Feelin' Good, Time after Time, Party Rock Anthem, Somewhere, Misty, You are the Sunshine of my Life, Fly me to the Moon and many more.

Please do come to support and bring your family and friends. You can reserve a table here. Some tables are usually reserved for walk-ins. It is a lovely family friendly music venue that serves food and has a playground for younger family members next door.

Secondary Music Ensembles Concert

On Wednesday 17th April our Secondary Music Ensembles present to you 'A Night of Musical Nexcellence'. The evening is a culmination of the hard work and practise that the secondary music ensembles have been working towards since January. It will be a lovely evening of music and talent from the: secondary choir, chamber choir, guitar ensemble, orchestra and chamber strings starting at 7pm in the Nexus Auditorium.

This is also the final event for many of our Y13 and Y11 musicians before they venture off for their exams. It is a celebration of all that they have achieved musically since being at Nexus.

No tickets are required and all families and friends welcome to attend. Doors open from 6.45pm.

Learners performing have been emailed separately with specific information regarding rehearsals and meet time.
