An Introduction:

Our Education Outside the Classroom department's key objective is to provide learners with a wide range of experiences outside of the classroom which will help them identify and develop new skills as well as promote their soft skills including confidence, creativity, and teamwork. We offer a very wide range of activities and are continually look to broaden and develop our programme. We encourage learners to contact us with ideas and suggestions. If there is sufficient interest to make a new activity run, we will do our best to make it happen.  EOTC@nexus.edu.sg

Season 1 - Sign up process and dates

Activity Seasons for CCAs, Music, Sport and Swimming

The following graphic gives an indication of the seasons and dates. These are carefully planned so that parents and learners can see the full range of activities that will be taking place in a particular semester before signing up, first to sport, swimming and music ensembles and later, once fixtures are known, to other weekly Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) activities, which may be free of charge or paid.

How to Sign Up via SchoolsBuddy

1. Submit Choices: Log into SchoolsBuddy during the sign-up window to select your activities. Students in Year 5 and above must submit their own choices. Please discuss these options with your child to encourage a well-balanced schedule.

2. Deadline: Ensure all requests are submitted by the advertised deadline. Activities at this stage are allocated randomly, not on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Review & Decline: Once allocation emails are sent, you can view your assigned activities and decline any you no longer wish to keep.

4. Stage 2 Sign-Up: Any remaining activity spots can be chosen during the second sign-up window on a first-come, first-served basis.
