Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our swim programme is divided into two pathways:

Nexus Swim Team – Competitive squads with set time standards for qualification. More details will be shared directly with parents/guardians if your child will meet the set criterias. Nexus Swim Academy – An all-round inclusive programme for learners from Nursery to Year 13, including Learn to Swim and developing swimmers. Please note that this is a paid programme.

Our coaches will assess your child to determine the most suitable placement within the Nexus Swim Programmes. While we are fully inclusive, please note that places in some squads and levels are limited.

Swim Program Stage 1,2,3 and 4

Fee: $38.00 per lesson (40min)

Training Frequency: 1 session per week after school

The program is intended to jumpstart a child's swimming journey and is suitable for both new swimmers and those with some experience. As swimmers advance through the stages, they focus on refining their techniques and building endurance through distance swimming.

Development Programme (Junior & Senior Grouping)

Fees: $40.00 per lesson (45min)

Training Frequency: 1 session per week after school

Our Developmental swimming program focuses on refining strokes and introducing the fundamental starts and turns used in competitive swimming. This stage builds upon the distance swimming covered in our Learn to Swim program by adding speed to the swimmers' skill set.

Important Information:

Nursery, Kindergarten, Year 1, and Year 2 learners must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when attending swimming sessions.
While it is not necessary for the parent or guardian to stay during the class, we do require you to:

Pick up your child from the Hub,
Bring them to the swimming pool changing rooms, and
Assist them with changing if needed.

After the class, please collect your little swimmer outside the Aquatics Centre and help them change if required.

We have a seating area for parents who would like to watch the swimming session. However, parents are not allowed to stay at the poolside due to safety reasons. Thank you for your support and understanding.
In the event of inclement weather, our coaches will conduct a land-based session for their squad.
We offer one make-up class per term, which will be arranged by the Swim Coordinator.

Our Nexus swim team

At Nexus International School, our Swim Team stands as a testament to dedication and excellence in competitive swimming. From local fixtures such as ACSIS Swimming and the Singapore National Age Group (SNAG) Championships to prestigious international meets, our team consistently demonstrates exceptional talent and unwavering commitment. With a proven track record of producing high-performance athletes and fostering a vibrant team culture, the swim programme at Nexus reflects our collective pursuit of excellence.

Our athletes proudly represent their countries on the international stage, as well as Singapore. The team includes National Champions and medalists at the Singapore 2025 age group championships.
