This trip is early in the academic year and helps build the Year 6 community, Learners become more independent and improve their self-management skills. Learners become more resilient, determined and are encouraged to cooperate with and support each other. This trip has a special focus on sustainability and promotes an appreciation of and care for the environment. They go snorkelling and discover the interior of the island, spending time and interacting with other young people in the local, community school.
