Year 4

A three day two night trip to Desaru Coast, Malaysia is planned for Year 4 learners in February 2025. We work with 'Orca Nation' (a well-established outdoor education provider who are well known to us) to offer learners a multi-activity residential experience, where activities such as intertidal discovery, hill trek and fruit farm and animal discovery provide opportunities for learners to further their learning outside of the classroom. Learners develop their teamwork and self-management skills, confidence, independence, sensible risk-taking and learn to support their peers. This is the first trip where learners travel overseas, by road and accommodation is in twin or triple hotel room accommodation with air conditioning.
