Dear Parents and Guardians
You could be forgiven for thinking that in the last few days of school the pace slows down a bit, but that just isn't the case here at Nexus. We have been a busy as ever over the final two weeks with MADD week, Primary transition days, final CCAs, Hair for Hope and Musician of the Year to name a few. Our learners have continued to take action, embrace experiences and seek out opportunities to grow and develop. We are very proud of them all.
Thank you so much for all the support you have shown us this academic year. We often talk about the importance of the home-school partnership which simply is not possible to make happen without your engagement. Thank you for all you do to ensure you child/ren are ready and able to learn - the magic doesn't happen without you.
We are privileged to work alongside amazing teams, without which our Nexus Family would be incomplete:
Classroom assistants - Thank you for your unfailing support with our younger learners. You provide such care and show so much dedication to support their learning and wellbeing.
Learner Services - Your ongoing attention to detail and availability to answer so many varying queries is appreciated by our whole community.
Teachers - We understand the relentless effort and energy that goes into ensuring every last learner is engaged with their learning, able to take risks and know their connection with you and others around them. Our genuine appreciation in ensuring this always happens.
Support teams - From Facilities to Finance, P&C to Marketing, Admissions to IT. We appreciate all your hard work, often behind the scenes that ensures we run smoothly and have all we need to support our learners.
Most importantly:
Our learners. You are the heart beat of our community. We are so very fortunate to have such amazing young people and children to work alongside that make our roles what they are. You really are the global citizens of the future.
We hope you all have a restful and energising break, we look forward to seeing you back in August with a smile on your face and stories of adventures to share. To learners and families that are leaving us we wish you all the best for the next part of your amazing journey and hope that you always hold your Nexus memories dear to you, keep in touch.Â
Best Wishes
Ms Fiona & Dr Heather
