Dear Families,
This week we have been learning all about Diwali. We have been talking about how Diwali can be celebrated and we have explored different sources of light such as fireworks, lamps and lanterns. The children have loved getting creative making their own Diya lamps out of clay.
The children now learn phonics in two groups and are practising different sounds. When watching the phonics videos below, please ask your child whether they are in Ms Alford or Ms Archer's phonics group to ensure that they are practising the sounds that they have learned this week.
Have a lovely weekend!
Best wishes,
Reception Team
