Activism and Community
The CLN work in SY2018-19 focused on two themes: Activism and Community.
Activism: Our morning workshops will explore instruction and inquiry through a set of issues that influence the lived experience of New York City students. Each morning will start with a guest whose activism aims to support students, directly or indirectly; we will then explore how the school library can use this expertise to support our community of students.
Community: Our afternoon workshops will develop professional skills that help campus librarians build community across schools on a campus. Our focus skills will be using data that inform library decision-making and addressing difficult conversations through a relationship-building focus.
This page contains links to all CLN workshop agendas; resources from each workshop are linked in each agenda.
