At New Vision Charter School, our goal is for students to master the Colorado Academic Standards and to become life-long lovers of math! In order to do this, we utilize the nationally recognized Envision Math program, along with a blended learning model using Symphony Math and Rocket Math to differentiate student lessons. This combination of programs allows students to progress through lessons at their own pace - slowing down as needed for reinforcement of concepts, or challenging themselves when they are ready to extend their learning.

Rocket Math/Symphony

In math, we utilize a blended learning model to teach your child! Following a small group lesson using direct instruction and reinforced practice with the teacher, students will use their computers daily to access Rocket Math, a fun and interactive way to practice their math facts. Next up, they will access Symphony, our individualized math curriculum. The lessons your child learns on Symphony are meant to supplement the teacher's lesson as well as to provide extensions and reinforcement of concepts. Please make sure your child has a working pair of headphones each day & we'll take care of the rest!
