Toe Walking

How to stretch Gastrocsoleus (Calf Muscles) for kids who are toe walkers with tight heelcords.

With the child lying on back or seated, hold child’s foot in hand. Apply light pressure flexing foot up towards child’s head. Once you feel resistance, hold for 20-30 seconds, alternate feet and repeat stretch 3-5 times on each side. Stretching should be done 3 times a day.
