2024 AP Exam Schedule
A few notes about the exam schedule:
Start and end times are subject to change and maybe updated in Late April, so please check back just before the exams.

Students must make their own transportation arrangements.
If you have an afternoon exam, please make sure you tell your coaches, directors, and jobs that you will be late as the exam is scheduled to go past the end of the school day.
Most exams take approximately 4 hours to administer (except Computer Science Principles, Government & Politics: Comparative, Psychology, & Physics C: Mechanics - these are approximately 3 hours). Students with approved accommodations will test for longer timeframes.
All exams will be on paper (except Chinese - this is on the computer).
Students individual exam schedule and reporting location will be emailed to their personal email address a few days prior to the start of the exams. Students can also log into their Total Registration account and see their anticipated schedule and room assignments. The final schedule will be posted by Friday May 3, 2024 at the latest.
Attendance - Will be reported to the house office approximately one hour after the start of each exam. If you are taking a morning exam you are expected to attend classes after the exam ends. If you are taking an afternoon exam you will be excused for the day. Please let your teachers know ahead of time if you are taking AP Exams.
If your student is taking an AP exam, here is what you need to know about attendance:
We will mark your student "CP" (or Constructively Present) for all blocks/classes that overlap with the time of testing.
If your student takes a morning exam, they are expected to attend afternoon classes after they finish testing.
If your student takes an afternoon exam, the student may be absent from morning classes ( to rest…..to finish studying…..etc). If your student will be absent for the morning blocks, before an afternoon exam, a parent must use the attendance google form. https://tinyurl.com/NNHSAbsence Please provide details about the AP absence in the notes.
Note that the absences during the exam times, and on the mornings of the afternoon exams, do not count toward an N. (These will all be marked "CP")
For students with questions about this policy, please speak with your SFA representatives. This policy was put in place by the SFA many years ago.
Conflicts - Ms. Mazzola will be in touch with all students who have testing conflicts and will make the appropriate schedule arrangements. If you are scheduled to take 2 exams in one day at different times, this is not a conflict unless you have approved extended time accommodations. The afternoon exam will not start until the morning exam ends and students taking both have had a chance to take a short break and eat lunch.
Late Testing - Occasionally, circumstances make it necessary for students to test late. To preserve the security of AP Exams, alternate forms are used for late testing. All students who participate in late testing at a given school must take these alternate exams on the scheduled late-testing dates at the scheduled times.
