University Student Senate Funding:
Important to note: The University Student Senate is a separate entity from SLI. We are advisors to the Senate, as they are a for-student-by-student entity within the University Shared Governance. Be sure to reach out to the Senate via uss@newschool.edu for any inquiries, curiosities, or questions.
The University Senate is proud to provide up to $5000 per year for Registered Student Organizations, $3000 for independent student initiatives, as well as funding to individual students for creative projects or endeavors. more information in the funding guide linked below*.
The University Student Senate, on their website, has released the long-term funding proposal schedule, information, and process for RSOs and Individual Student Initiatives for the academic year. If your club (or if YOU as an individual - yup, you can just ask for funds as a single student or a NON-RSO entity) haven't applied for group or individual funding - Utilize your tuition money!

The Office of Student Leadership and Involvement is excited to sit with RSOs and provide advice around their proposed proposals - don't be a stranger. The one thing we recommend is to check out the other submitted proposals to get a view of what proposals across the campus look like.
