Required Forms

1. Waiver and Emergency Contact Forms are due March 31, 2023.

2. Medical Form is due March 31, 2023.

3. Supplemental Student Assumption of Risk and Release Form is due March 31, 2023 for in-person programs only.

4. Visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Travelers' Health website for information on vaccinations.

5. Visit the Department of State travel page for all country-specific information you will need, including visa requirements. Students are responsible for completing any visa application process or payment of fees that may be required for their destination IFP country.

6. For International Students in Remote Studios: F-1 and J-1 international students who participate in the Virtual Internship component of the remote studio must check with the Office of International Student and Scholar Services to find out if work authorization is required. Email iss@newschool.edu with the title “Virtual Internship” along with your name and university ID number to request a review of your record for eligibility.

7. For International Students in IFP - Because the work/learning experience is taking place outside the U.S. it does not require work authorization. Curricular Practical Training is not required for F-1 international students, Academic training is not required for J-1 international students.
