Dear Families,

We hope you continue to stay safe and healthy. The children and families of Duzine & Lenape have been in our hearts and thoughts daily.

By now you should have received several emails requesting contact with your child who receive mandated counseling which is included on their IEP or 504 plan. We are hoping to stay in weekly contact. When we talk, we can set up a day and time for our phone calls/video chats/emails so we can be consistent and predictable—having a routine which is so important during this time.

Please note that many of the Lenape students who have been receiving counseling will be contacted by MaryGrace Renella who is replacing Meri Lederer as the counselor until the end of this academic year. Meri has taken on the position of interim Coordinator of Student Support Services.

As school social workers, psychologists and counselors, we are here for all students. We are available to provide support to any child from Duzine and Lenape. Please do not hesitate to contact one of us if you have a concern about your child.
