What’s your favorite thing about New Home?

I love the community, staff, students, and coaches.

What’s a lesson coaching sports has taught you?

Sports has taught me to have some grit and that when things get hard, to have the ability to stay in the fight.

What’s your favorite sport to coach?

It depends on what season I'm in, but I love them all. I enjoy seeing kids develop and have success.

Who’s your biggest inspiration?

My biggest inspiration is my family. I try to think about them on a daily basis.

What’s been your favorite vacation?

We’ve been blessed to take a few vacations. Any trip where I can have all my kids with me, that’s the best.

Have you had an “I made it” moment?

I don’t know if I’ve ever had an “I made it” moment. There’s things in your life that you do or accomplish. Once you get there, you want to accomplish more. For me, I always want to try and do more. I don’t want to say that I've reached it yet.

What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?

I’ve lived in Hawaii and I've worked in the south pole.
