The observing site is situated just North of Newcastle on a private estate. The society has been granted permission to use an area where we can observe safely and enjoy the night sky. This is an exclusive member only site.

Members have been working hard to get a fully working observing site available for members to use. We have telescopes to use including a 10 inch Dobsonian and a huge 16 inch custom made telescope, plus a few other astronomical gems to use.
Our 16 inch dob has recently had the mirror cleaned and is now ready for some stargazing action.
