• 9/30 Coach Miller's Post Race Update:

Another strong showing for our runners this week. All the genders ran together so it was bigger and more competitive. Ryder White continued his successful start with a second place finish, while Harry Stehmer, Isaac Rosenthal, and Able Bloodgood finished in 6th, 7th, and 9th respectively. Rounding out the finishers for the boys were August Levenson and Zach Striegel. The team finished first place ahead of HS Telecommunication Arts by 3 points!

The girls varsity team also had a strong showing. Led by senior captains Amaya Herrera and Mia DePaolo (5th and 7th), the girls team had HUGE personal bests. Melina Nesbitt, Odessa Forbes, Ibn Casinillo, Angelica Feliciano, and Shesit Moreno-Lopez ran fast times for the girls team that finished second behind a competitive Midwood program.

The ninth grade boys dominated, with E Houston finishing 1-3-4-6 to easily sweep. Weston Macari passed a runner in the final 20 meters to secure the win, followed by Daniel Godinger (3rd), Oliver Henry (4th) and Brandon Esguerra (6th). King Mack and Jeremy Rodriguez also ran strong races.

The ninth grade girls had three athletes in the top 12! Olive Sofrian and Gabriella Ronquillo were neck and neck to take 4th and 5th places, followed by Jaritza Vasquez in 12th place.

The teams are back in action tomorrow in Van Cortlandt Park. Thanks for your continued support🙂
