I'm excited to start learning with you soon!!
This will be my 5th year at Nest and my 14th teaching. It already is a year like no other, one that I imagine will open up new unexpected opportunities for learning.
This year 7th grade artists will delve deep into the idea of identity through ongoing research of various artists, sketchbook reflections, and exploration of different materials that will result in the creation of drawings, mixed media collages and sculptures. Messes and masterpieces will be made while your art-making skills blossom along with your sense of self.
In short, it will be serious fun!
