The Thrive Center was founded in 2022 with a vision centered around promoting thriving, resilient schools. THRIVE is a clinical mental health practice that works closely with students and their families to promote positive social-emotional health and to foster healthy connections to people, place, and purpose.
THRIVE is comprised of Qualified Mental Health Providers, a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, a Board-Certified Music Therapist, and other Mental Health Support Associates who take a person-centered approach, individualizing treatment and providing quality mental health services to help people THRIVE.
Staci Holderman, Director of Mental Health, leads our Boston faculty through a training on Healthy Habits, Co-Regulation, and Behavior Management.

>> The Thrive Center is comprised of a team of qualified, licensed mental health professionals who provide mental health services, according to their credential and scope of practice. While there is a shortage of mental health providers across the state and our nation, the Thrive Center is currently fully staffed. Employee retention has remained high, retaining 90% of employees during 2023-2024 school year.
>>The Thrive Center has provided trauma informed care training to schools across the district. Continued opportunities and training in Trauma Informed Practices will be provided yearly.
>> The Thrive Center will offer virtual clinic hours on Wednesdays, beginning in May 2024. The virtual clinic hours will provide brief, consultative sessions to any parent of a NCS student, in an effort to build resilience across the community. The Thrive Center will track the number participants throughout the school year and the satisfaction results. A link to the THRIVE VIRTUAL CLINIC will be added soon.

The Thrive Center unites with people, place, and purpose to provide opportunities for mental health interns to complete clinical internship requirements with Nelson County Schools. Over the past year, interns from Lindsey Wilson, Eastern Kentucky University, and Campbellsville University have partnered with the Thrive Center.
