Needham High School (NHS) Friends of Music is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization committed to promoting performing arts at Needham High School.

As a parent-led booster club for performing arts, the FOM's mission is to support and enrich in-class and extracurricular music and theater programs while championing the successes of the students these activities and programs benefit.  We provide scholarships to graduating seniors who have participated in the Needham High School performing arts.  We also strive to foster an engaged community of families, educators and students who share an interest in enhancing the vitality and excellence of performing arts offerings at Needham High School. www.nhsfriendsofmusic.org/ 

Needham’s Art in Bloom​ is a award-winning FREE exhibit of art by talented Needham High School students and floral designs by Beth Shalom Garden Club members and participants from Kalmia and Needham Garden Clubs!

Garden club members are paired with artwork by talented Needham High School art students for floral interpretation.

Needham’s Art in Bloom continues to grow with the dedication of garden club members, Needham High School Fine Arts Department staff​ and the support from the participants of Needham and Kalmia garden clubs.

Needham Open Studios is annual non-juried event in Needham, Massachusetts open to all artists, performers, and craftspeople. NHS FPA partners with North Hill Living Community to exhibit art work alongside North Hill residents.

The Needham Bank Great Hall Concert Series is brought to you thanks to the efforts of The Great Hall Performance Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation pledged to continue the good work of its predecessor, Citizens for the Preservation of Town Hall. Our philanthropic mission continues to focus on historic preservation, building a vibrant community, and local economic development.  We also seek to highlight and support the excellent performing arts programs in the Needham Public Schools.

The GHPF works closely with the Needham Town Manager, the local business community, allied arts organizations, and the Needham Schools to provide outstanding but affordable concerts in our beautifully-restored Town Hall.  As part of this effort, Needham students are involved in all facets of concert series planning, production, and performance.  Furthermore, a large donation from the proceeds of each season is contributed annually to the Needham Public Schools’ Fine and Performing Arts program.

Each season features a renowned, world-class artist from the pop, folk, classical, and jazz genres.
