A conversation about the risk often involved with being brave in the classroom and sharing one's candid thoughts on contentious topics. We will navigate the some of the following themes:

• Challenges that may arise in the classroom linked to dialogue

• Ideas on how to advocate for oneself and the way one views topics in the classroom, especially if one has a varying view to others.

• Sharing candid student perspectives on what would be helpful in classes and staff spaces. What do students need in order to feel that they can contribute meaningfully in class? What should we know about what causes harm?
