Unit 7 Learning Objectives - The Rise & Fall of World Empires:
These questions are the key points of the unit. You need to learn the answers to these questions and be able to explain them thoroughly before the test as these questions are the focus of the exam.
Pre-Columbian Civilization Project - Part 1: Research
See Mr. Davis so you can be assigned a Pre-Columbian American civilization to research and do your project on. Once you have been assigned a civilization use the paper to guide your internet research. You will be using this info later to do the rest of the project and you will eventually be turning it in.
Pre-Columbian Civilization Project - Part 2: Poster
Once you have completed the research packet above on your assigned civilization then you are going to make a poster (regular paper sized is fine) that is neat, colored, and well executed. The poster should include the following parts:
The name of your assigned civilization written neatly and spelled correctly.
A map of where the people of your civilization lived either printed and attached or neatly drawn by you.
A hand-drawn, color picture of something from your civilization that would represent your civilization.
Two to three bullet points of information that highlight the most interesting or important things you learned about each question on the research paper you already completed. Write neatly and watch your spelling.
Staple these two parts and turn them in together. Make sure your name is on it.
