Exploring Aesop's Fables: Follow all of the instructions below -
Use the link below and choose one of Aesop's Fables.
Read one of Aesop's Fables that you do not already know (some of the links to the fables do not work but most do so if you choose a fable you can't read choose a different one).
Use a blank sheet of paper and draw a color illustration of a key part of the fable you chose. Be sure to also write the name of the fable at the top of the page. This should be neat, drawn to the best of your ability, and in color.
On the back write your own modern fable that teaches the SAME MORAL or LESSON. In other words, invent your own fable that teaches the same lesson. This should be around half a page. Be sure to explain the moral at the end.
