Unit 4 Learning Objectives - Life & Change In The 13 British Colonies:
These questions are the key points of the unit. You need to learn the answers to these questions and be able to explain them thoroughly before the test as these questions are the focus of the exam.
Lessons & Reflections On The Colony Simulation: Think about what you and your group went through as we played the Colony Simulation Game. List three things you learned or ideas that were reinforced for you by doing the Colony Simulation. What good or bad things did the early colonies have to experience that you now understand better and deeper after doing the activity? Write you list of three things down on your own paper, explain them, and then turn it in.

Some questions are meant to show your understanding of the topic, some questions are having you make predictions or guesses about what will happen, and some questions are just making you think about history and getting your thoughts on the topics.

Slaves & Indentured Servants Stories: For this assignment you are going to write 2 different stories that are between a half page and a full page (12 point font and double spaced).
You should write the first story from the point of view of an indentured servant who is coming to the colonies in America. In the story talk about how the character feels, why they are coming, and what they expect their life to be like, etc. You can also write about what their life is actually like working as an indentured servant. Use good spelling and grammar.
You should write the second story from the point of view of a slave. What is your life like? How do you feel? What do you have to do each day? Use good spelling and grammar.
