Dual Credit

LETU (Approx $270 per course)

NDHS offers Dual Credit opportunities for qualifying Rising Juniors and Seniors in a partnership with LETU and/or Kilgore College. Students must apply for dual credit through NDHS to Amy Blalock for approval BEFORE applying to the university. Application is below.

NOTE: Deadline for NDHS participation Fall of 2024 is May 23.

Enrollment for Fall of 2024 for NDHS students must be completed  by May 23 for college scheduling purposes. 

We will be administering the TSI on May 28 REGISTER HERE  


Remember it is as easy as 1-2-3 to earn dual credits and SOAR Eagles!


Step 1: You must get administrative approval to apply by filling out the application and returning it to Mrs. Blalock  (Even if you are already in Dual Credit) Dual Credit Application. and/or complete this Google Form here This signed statement verifies you understand the academic and financial requirements. Then you must apply (I can not do this for you) to the college on their website and be accepted as a dual credit student. 

Step 2: Once approval/acceptance has been made and you have created your login information for the university using the directions they will email to you :

Step 3: Pay the university directly through the payment portal at the institution and get busy! 




How much does Dual Credit cost?



LeTourneau University Courses

The cost per course is $270.

Kilgore College is approx $55 per hour or $165 per course

Subject to change each semester and may include additional lab and distance learning fees.

The student purchases the textbook.  The information can be found through the college.
