The Wreaths Across America story began over 28 years ago when Worcester Wreath Company (a for-profit commercial business from Harrington, Maine) began a tradition of placing wreaths on the headstones of our Nation’s fallen heroes at Arlington National Cemetery. Over the years, Worcester Wreath has sponsored countless wreaths, which are placed by volunteers in a wreath laying ceremony each December. The Mission Continues' Service Platoons are proud to support these efforts in honoring the lives of those we've lost during the holiday season.
Join the TMC Chicago Service Platoon on Saturday, December 14th, at 10:15am, for a meaningful event in support of Wreaths Across America at Rosehill Cemetery. Together, we will honor and remember our veterans by laying wreaths and speaking their names aloud-a powerful way to reflect on their legacy.
This event offers a chance to connect with fellow veterans and community supporters, share stories, and reflect on the mission of the Chicago Service Platoon. We hope to see you there, and we hope you get involved!
Please note that all volunteers are required to complete registration and waiver on The Mission Continues event page before December 14th. https://www.missioncontinues.org/event/details?id=a1lWP0000016rM1

In December we’re doing Craft Service: Project Linus https://nmdl.libnet.info/event/5599305.
We’re offering it in a hybrid format, where they can either come in person to make a blanket, or pick up a kit to make at home.
