Interland is a platform made by Google to teach players how to be internet safe. Targeted for elementary aged students, Interland takes you through four islands to teach you how to be internet safe, kind, smart, and alert. At each island you complete a game and a quiz to learn about how to be a responsible and safe member of the internet. Interland is such an engaging and fun way for kids to learn how to be apart of the digital world!

The last world, Mindful Mountain, informs students that everything on the internet is public and permantent, and you must be thoughtful about what you post and where you post it.

As a future elementay teacher I can use platforms like Interland to teach students internet safety from a young age. I believe that it is important to teach good internet habits as much as possible from a young age. Even I still have a lot to learn, but platforms such as Interland are a great reminder and reinforcer of correct internet use at all ages. Teaching correct internet use in schools will be the best and most efficient way to spread internet safety throughout the entire next generation of students.
